Regular Season Round 16: Budva - ABC Hoopers 49-62

There was a surprise result when 78th ranked RomanianABC Hoopers (1-3) won against higher ranked Montenegrin Budva (3-4) 62-49 on Monday. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by ABC Hoopers. Budva managed to win third quarter 23-8 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ABC Hoopers dominated on the defensive end, holding Budva to just 3 points in first quarter. They also forced 21 Budva turnovers. Luca Bastina fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Matei Ivan chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four ABC Hoopers players scored in double figures. Aleksa Bubanja produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and Pavle Rakanovic added 3 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. ABC Hoopers left bottom position moving up to second place, which they share with 8 other teams. Loser Budva dropped to the 65th position with four games lost.
